The feature allows users to generate apps by typing natural language prompts, with Bluesky CEO Toni Schneider describing it as 'social vibe coding' for communities. The tool represents a shift toward making AI-assisted app creation accessible to non-technical users on the social platform.

Ricursive Intelligence is developing AI systems designed to automate chip design by creating designs, learning from each iteration, and improving subsequent versions. The startup aims to address the compute crisis by accelerating and automating what has traditionally been a manual, time-intensive process. The approach represents an attempt to use AI to solve infrastructure bottlenecks that have become critical as demand for computing power grows.

Sachin Katti, vice president of compute strategy at OpenAI, is departing the company on November 15 after approximately one year in the role. Katti previously spent four years at Intel before joining OpenAI. He announced his departure via X, stating he would be moving on to build something new.
